We had a great experience overall. From the host to the waitress and manager, everyone was incredibly attentive—especially when it came to entertaining our son during our stay, which made a big difference. The waitress offered excellent local menu recommendations without being pushy, and her suggestions really hit the mark. The quality of the food was outstanding—flavorful, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. Highly recommend trying the Azteca Soup, the Mexican Mayan Platter, and especially the Cochinita Pibil (Mayan pulled pork)—each dish was a standout. Would definitely come back. A warm, welcoming place with authentic flavors and thoughtful service

We visited this restaurant during our holiday in Playa Del Carmen. The food was really tasty and so where the drinks. The staff was very friendly and made our visit pleasant. Also we had a very nice surprise when one of the staff members showed up with pictures with us in a nice frame and on tequila bottle (we had to pay to have them) which was a unexpected surprise and a unique experience. Definitely a good memory !

Stopped here for lunch and to escape the heat. Service was excellent! The mojito that my wife ordered was the best she’d ever tasted. We loved the food and the atmosphere. I hope to visit again someday.

Loved it here. Food was amazing, Guacamole is made at the table. servers Edgard and Jade made us feel at home. The music and drinks were the heart of the place. One of the few places that feel authentic. Please ask Aldo if you need any directions. He is a personal Google maps. Great experience.

BEST FOOD IN PLAYA DEL CARMEN. I went twice during my visit and loved it. Our server Jorge was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. He was very mindful of my allergies and making sure everything was safe — I would very much recommend this restaurant to anyone with dietary restrictions! It’s a great place to explore Mayan food and enjoy an energetic and beautiful space. You will leave here amazed at the quality of the food and drinks and genuine kindness of the staff. I highly recommend the Maya sampler, Watermelon or Tamarind Margaritas, and Mayan Coffee (with its unique anise and honey liqueurs).

Very nice place. They have a very good choice of local Mexican food. And guacamole was super super tasty. Service was also very friendly and helpful. However, I can’t say that this is my favorite restaurant in town but in general the experience was positive:)

We had a great time at this restaurant. The atmosphere and service was just great. We were really after some authentic Mexican as we were staying at a resort that just did not meet expectations. The food here was awesome. We had 5 people and tried 4 different dishes and they were all wonderful.
